Dan is the current President Pro Tempore of the St. Joseph County Council, representing District C (Granger), where he has built a record of delivering results through fiscal responsibility and practical leadership. Since taking office, he has co-sponsored tax relief for seniors, voted for three balanced budgets, helped secure raises for sheriff’s officers, advanced road paving projects, and successfully led the effort to build Anderson Trail Park without raising taxes.
As a husband, father, Penn High School U.S. History teacher, and small business owner, Dan brings real-world experience and a common-sense approach to county government, working across party lines when necessary to get things done for the residents he serves.

Spectacular Granger
What makes Granger so outstanding? The answer is simple - it is the people of Granger that make it a fantastic place to live. Students, working class, and white collar residents come together to create a dynamic economic environment.
Small and medium sized businesses prosper because of brilliant and hard working men and women that drive innovation and customer satisfaction on a daily basis. Our children learn twenty-first century skills and habits through the influence of loving parents and dedicated teachers. These are what make Granger a great community in which to live and raise a family.
Family
I am truly blessed. My wife, Lina, has an unbridled passion for her family, business and community. My daughter, Bella, is a studious, caring teenager and leader among her peers. My son, Adam, amazes me on a daily basis with his musical talent. Together, we love our community and strive to be a positive difference in the lives of those around us.
We have invested our lives in Granger and St. Joe County. It is here that we have established two small businesses, contributed to the education of St. Joe County’s children, raised our own children, grown our faith and made a lifetime worth of friendships.
